About

Hi, we’re Griffin and Audrey.

From our home in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, we spend our time with raptors—scanning skies, walking riverbanks, and hiking trails in search of silhouettes on the horizon.

Every encounter adds to a growing record of sketches, photographs, and notes on behavior and conservation. Some come from the wild, others from aviaries and refuges where these birds can be studied up close. Together they tell the story of how raptors live, hunt, migrate, and survive in today’s landscapes.

This site brings it all together—species ID, folklore, conservation, and natural history—where science and story meet to better understand these birds of prey.
